Parc Naturel Regional des Grands-Causses, France : shooting set

Per le foto è time out.

I guess you have alredy seen the first pic plenty of times: it’s our profile page on Fb on Twitter, on Instagram and it’s the header of this site too. We chose this pic to represent us because it has a story. A story worth beeing our first travel tale.

June 2012 , Tour of France. Ten days around this big country driving our camping car. We will talk about this trip. But not now.

We are in south-centre France, near the city of Millau ( little square on the map)  riding “La Meridienne” (E11), coming from Paris heading to Camargue. It’s about 8 p.m. and we are lazely driving on this long ,straight, desert road; sun is about to set.

Landscape is getting wilder ,but we nearly do not give importance to those big rocks, red lightened by the sun, which stands close to the street, we just watch them silently, without stopping from driving.

Few moments later both Gabrio and me realized we could not miss such a place, we had to be back and take some pictures. Few minutes and we’re off road close to those rocks, but those minutes were enough to make the sun set: no time for pictures.

But we were already felt in love with that place so we planned to shoot the early morning after. At first we wanted to sleep in that area, then realized it would have been completly dark, more we found that beautiful sheep bone..we decided that making few others miles couldn’t be all that bad! 🙂

6 o’clock in the morning we were already on the ground! Gabrio checking lights , Gloria and Eva supervisoring the location, and me getting ready. All I need, I have in the camping car: basic makeup, little selection of clothes of Patrizia Belsito label, wind will help as hairstylist!

Four different set-outfits, 3 hours of work and nothing planned. We were on a holiday trip, but were prepared in case of finding THE perfect place. So this shooting was made

here you can see the entire shooting

When back home we found out we were in Parc Naturel Regional des Grands-Causses, in Midi-Pyrénées area, a place listed in the Unesco sites whose history is strongly linked to the Templares history . A plece were we’ll surely want to be back in the future
